Barlow Street Motors has entered a new era in 2013, spearheaded by two brothers, Idrish and Feroz Bhaloda. Having taken over from their older brother the business will be heading in an all new direction, with the focus on achieving Insurance and Manufacturer Approvals, combined with Fleet and Accident Management. Married within this will be extending their relationships with their current partners, with customer service and satisfaction priority.

Both Idrish and Feroz know the challenge that lies ahead and with their industry knowledge and skills set which stems 20 years, they and Barlow Street Motors have the right ingredients for the future.

From Operations Manager at Santander to Managing Director, Customer Service & Finance Manager, I understand what it takes. With my previous position in the banking world it enabled me a true the understanding of the words “Customer satisfaction and retention. Customers are the key to success, as it plays a vital role in the day to day running of our business. From ensuring our quality is right first time, meeting our customers needs and exceeding all expectations, this is very important to me. Within my role I also oversee the financial side of the business, again this comes from the experience within the banking world. Being able to negotiate best discounts with suppliers that can be achieved, this then enables us to be competitive and provide value to our customers.

Feroz Bhaloda – Managing Director & Bodyshop Manager & VDA Estimator

Having progressed through the traditional industry routes to the position of senior painter, Feroz then took a totally different career direction and went into retail. Where he established Swintons leading stationary, books and magazine outlet for 7 years before selling the business and returning to the vehicle repair industry. Today my life is totally different, yet similar in many ways in regards to customer focus. As Bodyshop Manager & Estimator my role is to oversee, quality, efficiency, productivity and utilisation within the business. We adopt a very open policy within the business and communication is key with customer up-dates and progress reports. We know what our customers desire which is a stress free solution and a repairer that is completely hassle free and one that will go the extra mile to ensure this. This starts from dealing with the insurance company, producing an accurate estimate and keeping the customer informed every step of the way. Once authorisation has been received, parts ordered and the vehicle is in the repair system, the expected completion date has been set and must be met. We’ve implemented a continuous repair flow procedure which ensures the vehicle never stops once it is released into the system.
